Understand your Prakriti and Vikriti
Your nature.
Your balance today.
Discover your natural constitution and understand your current pattern. AyurvedaGrid reads several observations together to help you explore the relationship between the two.

Your natural constitution
Prakriti
In Ayurveda, Prakriti is the individual balance of Vata, Pitta and Kapha you are considered to have from the beginning. It provides a baseline for understanding your lifelong tendencies.
- Your underlying constitution
- Longstanding qualities and tendencies
- The baseline against which change is read
Your current pattern
Vikriti
Vikriti describes how your doshas are expressing themselves right now. Season, food, sleep, stress and routine can influence this pattern over time.
- Your state today
- Patterns that can change over time
- What to pay attention to in your current routine
The three doshas
Ayurveda describes three principles that combine in every person. Your constitution is your individual blend; there is no single ideal type. Explore Vata, Pitta and Kapha →

Constitution versus current pattern
Think of Prakriti as your baseline and Vikriti as today’s reading. Exploring the difference helps place your food, routine and lifestyle guidance in context. Answer honestly rather than ideally: the assessment is about your experience.
Why one signal alone is not enough
No single photograph or recording determines your result. A tongue or voice sample is one observation among many. Expert review helps reconcile observations that appear to disagree.
How the signals are combined
The AI-assisted assessment organizes your inputs into a preliminary overview and guidance. On Expert-Reviewed plans, Dr Girish Shirke checks the interpretation for consistency before delivery.
A guide to understanding yourself
Prakriti and Vikriti are Ayurvedic wellness concepts. This assessment is educational and does not diagnose or treat a medical condition. It is designed to be completed in one sitting, at your own pace.
What is the difference between Prakriti and Vikriti?
In Ayurveda, Prakriti is your natural constitution — the balance of vata, pitta, and kapha you are considered to have from the start. Vikriti is your current state, which can drift from your Prakriti with season, diet, stress, and routine. The assessment looks at both.
Can one photograph determine my Prakriti or Vikriti?
No. No single photograph or signal determines the assessment. AyurvedaGrid combines several observations — face, tongue, eyes, nails, a voice sample, and questionnaire responses — so that no one input is over-weighted.
Is a Prakriti or Vikriti assessment a medical diagnosis?
No. Prakriti and Vikriti are Ayurvedic wellness concepts, not medical diagnoses. The assessment is educational and informational and does not diagnose or treat any medical condition.
Can I have my assessment reviewed by an expert?
Yes. On the Expert-Reviewed plans, Dr Girish Shirke reviews the Ayurvedic interpretation of your Prakriti and Vikriti for consistency before the report is delivered.
