Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AyurvedaGrid LLC ("AyurvedaGrid," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use https://ayurvedagrid.com and our AI-assisted Ayurvedic wellness assessment. It is intended for residents of the United States; the service is not directed to the EEA or the UK.
1. Who we are
AyurvedaGrid LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, is the controller of the information described here. For any privacy question or request, contact privacy at ayurvedagrid dot com.
2. Information we collect
We follow data minimization: we collect and keep only the minimum information needed to deliver your assessment. In particular, your photos and voice are used to generate your overview and are not retained once your chosen service is finalized (see Data retention below).
- Account data — your email address and authentication details, so you can sign in and return to your assessments.
- Assessment inputs — the photos you capture (such as face, tongue, and body, and optionally eyes and nails) and a short voice recording. These are used to generate your wellness overview.
- Assessment results — the dosha readouts and reports we generate for you.
- Payment data — for the premium report, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details directly. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data — basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
3. Sensitive and biometric data; your consent
Photos of your face, tongue, eyes, and nails and your voice recording may reveal health-related characteristics and, in some states, may be treated as biometric or consumer health data. We process this information only with your explicit consent, only to produce your Ayurvedic wellness assessment, and never to identify you or to make a medical diagnosis. We do not sell, lease, or profit from this information. See our Biometric Data Notice & Consent and our Consumer Health Data Privacy notice; these supplement this policy and, for the specific data they cover, control to the extent of any conflict. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your data (see Delete My Data).
4. How we use your information
- To create and deliver your free and premium assessments.
- To let you sign in and access your saved reports.
- To process payments for the premium report.
- To secure, maintain, and improve the service.
- To send service messages (for example, a receipt or a report link).
5. Automated processing
Your assessment is generated by automated analysis (AI) of the inputs you submit. This produces an informational wellness overview; it does not make any legal or similarly significant decision about you, and it is not a medical diagnosis. Where required, you may ask us about the logic involved or object to automated processing by contacting privacy at ayurvedagrid dot com.
6. How your information is stored and secured
Account data, assessment inputs, and results are stored in our managed backend (Supabase) in access-controlled storage, so that each account can reach only its own files and records. Access is restricted and protected in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
7. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the service, under contract and only as needed:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- Google (Gemini) — the AI model that analyzes your assessment inputs.
- Stripe — payment processing for the premium report.
- Daily.co — the video and audio connection for 1:1 consultations. Calls are not recorded.
- ElevenLabs — speech-to-text for a consultation, only when both you and the practitioner agree to transcription. It turns the call's speech into text; the audio is not kept.
- Resend — e-mail delivery, for example your report and receipts.
- Ayurvedic wellness consultants (independent contractors) — if you choose a service that includes expert confirmation or a consultation, your assessment inputs and results are shared with an independent Ayurvedic wellness consultant to provide it. They are not licensed medical providers and are bound by confidentiality.
- Analytics & advertising (optional, opt-in) — Google Analytics 4, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and the TikTok Pixel. These load only if you accept analytics/advertising cookies, and are covered by our Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state laws define "sale" and "sharing" broadly to include the use of advertising cookies and pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because our advertising and analytics pixels load only after you opt in, they stay off unless you allow them; you can opt out at any time (see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information). We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. We may disclose information if required by law.
8. Data retention
We retain information for the periods below, unless a longer period is required by law. You can request deletion at any time.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account data (email, sign-in) | While your account is active; deleted on account deletion. |
| Photos and voice | Kept only until your report is finalized, then deleted — once your AI report is generated, once an expert confirms it, or after your expert consultation, depending on the service you choose. Not retained afterward. |
| Assessment results and reports | While your account is active; deleted on request. |
| Payment records | Minimal transaction records kept as required by tax and accounting law; card data is held by Stripe under its own terms. |
| Technical logs | Up to 12 months, for security and operations. |
9. Your US state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others), you may have the right to:
- access or receive a copy of your personal information;
- correct or delete your personal information;
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising;
- limit the use of sensitive personal information (which includes biometric and health-related data);
- appeal a denied request, where your state provides that right.
To exercise any of these, email privacy at ayurvedagrid dot com or use Delete My Data. We will verify your request (typically using the email on your account) and respond within the time your law requires (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if you are unsatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
10. Children
The service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the service is not directed to minors. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete the data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
