Consumer Health Data Privacy

This notice applies to "consumer health data" as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws (for example, Nevada's health-data law). Because your photos and the wellness inferences we generate can relate to your health, we treat them as consumer health data and give this data extra protection. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What we collect

Photographs (face, tongue, body, and optionally eyes and nails), a short voice recording, and the Ayurvedic wellness inferences and reports we generate from them.

2. How we use it

Solely to create and deliver your wellness assessment, to let you revisit it from your account, and to secure and operate the service.

3. Collection consent

We collect your consumer health data only with your consent, given when you start an assessment, or as necessary to provide the assessment you request.

4. Sharing consent

We do not sell your consumer health data, and we do not share it for anyone else's purposes. We use only the providers needed to deliver the service you choose — Supabase for storage, Google Gemini for analysis, and, if you choose expert confirmation or a consultation, an independent Ayurvedic wellness consultant — under contract and only to deliver that service. We will not share your consumer health data for any other purpose without your separate, additional consent.

5. No geofencing

We do not use geofences around any health facility to identify, track, collect data from, or send messages to you.

6. Your rights

Under the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws, you may:

• confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, and access it;
• obtain a list of the third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared your consumer health data, and how to contact them;
• withdraw your consent to collection and sharing; and
• delete your consumer health data.

To exercise any of these, email privacy at ayurvedagrid dot com or use Delete My Data. We will confirm when your request is complete.

7. Not covered by HIPAA

AyurvedaGrid provides Ayurvedic wellness and educational services, not medical care. We are not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, and these wellness services are not subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The health-related information you provide is protected under this notice and our Privacy Policy rather than under HIPAA. Because HIPAA does not apply, please use discretion about what you choose to share.
