Biometric Data Notice & Consent

This notice explains how AyurvedaGrid LLC handles the images and voice features you submit for your Ayurvedic assessment, and asks for your consent under US biometric-privacy laws (including the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act, and Washington law). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What we collect and why

To generate your wellness overview, you submit photographs (face, tongue, and body, and optionally eyes and nails) and a short voice sample. Your voice sample is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to analyze the qualities of your voice for your wellness overview. We do not use it to identify you or to build a voiceprint for recognition.

2. Wellness inference — not identification, not diagnosis

We analyze visual and vocal features to produce a general wellness overview for your personal health awareness and a healthy lifestyle. We do not use these inputs to identify you, to verify your identity, or to build a faceprint or voiceprint for recognition; we do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease; and we do not sell, lease, trade, profit from, or use them to train our AI models.

3. Disclosure

Your inputs are processed by our AI provider (Google Gemini). If you choose a service that includes expert confirmation or a consultation, your inputs are also shared with an independent Ayurvedic wellness consultant — a contractor, not a licensed medical provider — to provide that service, under confidentiality. We do not disclose them to any other third party except as required by law.

4. Retention and destruction

We keep your photos and voice only until your report is finalized, then delete them — once your AI report is generated, once an expert confirms it, or after your expert consultation, depending on the service you choose. We do not retain them afterward. This is our publicly available retention-and-destruction schedule for this data.

5. Your consent

By starting an assessment and submitting your images and voice sample, you provide your written consent to the collection, use, storage, and destruction described here. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your data (see Delete My Data); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
